Avalon es una banda de heavy metal underground de Holanda. La banda fue formada en 1975 bajo el nombre de Scratch y cambió su nombre por el de Avalon en 1980. Entre 1984 y 1987 lanzaron muchos demos. "Hard loving man" se ha tomado de su 1986 "The Third Move" EP. La banda se separó en 1989.
