Metal Law - "Lawbreaker" (2008)

Banda alemana de heavy metal con notorias y abundantes influencias (léase: Running Wild, Manowar, Iron Maiden y Accept entre otras)
.
Se aprecia rápidamente que la banda trata de revivir un poco lo que fue el heavy de los '80, incluso en las letras, que quizás son "muy" Manowar (claro ejemplo: "... defenders of steel, the fear of the dark, the priest is running wild… we are the metal law, we fight for the metal and hope you too… ") pero es lo de menos... musicalmente son excelentes, no aburren... buenos solos y variedad en los temas.

Angelus Apatrida - Clockwork - 2010

El grupo de Albacete, uno de los más grandes actualmente en la escena del meta español. Nos presentan su tercera obra, Clockwork, y esta vez por Century Media. Uno de los sellos más importantes en la escena del metal. Tras el anterior Give 'Em War, nos vuelven a dar un nuevo recital de thrash metal a base de 12 temas nuevos y una cover de Iron Maiden Be quick or be dead, que queda totalmente brutal. Stormwitch - Eye Of The Storm (1989)

Stormwitch se formo en 1979 con el nombre de "Lemon Sylvan" cambiaron su nombre en 1981. Fue la primera banda alemana influenciada por la NWOBHM. Están considerados también como otro de los padres del power metal, junto con sus compatriotas Helloween,Running Wild y Grave Digger. A pesar de ello nunca recibieron un reconocimiento similar. Durante los ochentas fueron de las pocas bandas de metal que tocaron en Europa Oriental, llegando a hacer un concierto en Budapest, Hungría en 1989.

Tokyo Blade (1984) Night Of The Blade

El Night of the Blade, grabado en principio por el cantante original, Alan Marsh, pero que ve la salida regrabado a las voces por el cantante que lo sustituye. Hace unos años salió en cd la reedición de este trabajo con la voz de Alan Marsh: se llama Night of the Blade – The Night Before, y es una gran ocasión para disfrutar de este gran trabajo con la voz de este gran cantante. Ya no es tan NWOBHM, evolucionan en su sonido, pero es altamente recomendable, tiene verdaderos himnos que te erizan la piel. Para mí está casi al mismo nivel que el primero.
